Team Building

On site facilitation available.  Half day and full day team building activities can be structured to meet your groups individual needs.

TEAM BUILDING EXAMPLE ~ HALF DAY SESSION ~ Available for small to large groups.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Begin with a series of thirty-minute initiatives which will involve all participants in ice breaking games.  Our lead team members will discuss the goals, the full value contract, and the itinerary for the day.  All participants will commit to supporting each other as they attempt new challenges which may be outside their “zone of comfort”.  One of the underlying themes is that teams need to stretch to grow.  To do so requires support from one’s associates.

The large group games will involve learning one another’s names and snap decision making through a face paced initiative entitled Cog Wheels.  This will be followed up by a quick thinking, low energy event, “Bizz Buzz”.
(9:00 – 9:30 a.m.)

We will then break into groups of six, which can be handled randomly on the spot or be predetermined by the client. Each group of approximately eleven will rotate in 20-minute blocks through all six stations.  (9:30 – 11:30 a.m.)  These games will build trust, out of the box thinking, the value of leadership and fellowship, as well as the importance of strategic planning.

Some games will involve moderate to high levels of activity; others only clear thinking and low movement.  An example of the former is Keypunch wherein team members rapidly touch files numbered 1 to 30 inside a rectangular perimeter as quickly as possible, while the later is best seen in the participants joining in pairs, one sighted and one blinded to assemble a giant puzzle.  Protocols which will be explained on site may simplify or complicate these procedures, not unlike the work day world.

All activities will be related to one’s work, and in fact are quite useful as teaching take-aways regarding employee relations, development of product and customer relations.  All games will be explained, then taken part in, then debriefed.

We will close the day by joining in a large group (11:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon). Participants will take part in one last event then contribute concluding comments.A t the morning’s end, we will have experienced laughter and learning, connectedness and collaboration, the importance of planning and valuing all of the team members contribution.

We can also assist you with arrangements for a full and half day ropes course with certified instructors.

These courses can be adapted to meet the physical limitations of your group.

Both high and low ropes are available just a short distance from the resort at Amicalola Falls
