Experience this cabin style and you will know that our mission was accomplished! The sofa and oversized ottoman was handcrafted by the Amish while the mattresses were made especially for Forrest Hills Mountain Resort. The 350 gallon hot tub is in a dedicated cedar-lined room with floor to ceiling windows which overlook the forest and is separated from the bedroom by French doors. The gas log fireplace and mood lighting created by dimmer switches give you the flexibility to set a mood that's just right for you. The covered porch with a swing plus a table and chairs will allow you to sit outside and hear the sounds of nature while you enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, even on a rainy day. A kitchenette equipped with refrigerator/freezer, microwave and coffee maker are there for your convenience along with a TV/VCR/DVD player and CD stereo. Additionally, as with all of our accommodations, central heat and air is standard for your comfort.
