WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
CABINS/ROOMS require 2 weeks advance notice for cancellations. If cancelled outside of the 2 week window a $40 cancellation penalty applies. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to arrival are non-refundable. ELOPEMENTS require 30 day advance notice for a refund less $100 fee and nonrefundable within 30 days of arrival. Rescheduling is considered the same as a cancellation.
WHAT ARE CHECK IN AND OUT TIMES?
Check in is any time after 4pm. Check out is by 11am.
WHAT IF I ARRIVE AFTER THE OFFICE IS CLOSED?
No worries! As long as you have paid the deposit, we have an after hours process that we automatically do if you do not arrive before we close. Come to the office in the morning to officially check in.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
There is complimentary parking next to all accommodations.
ARE ROOMS PET FRIENDLY?
Most of our accommodations are not pet friendly. Only our Deluxe Double Cabins and 2-Bedroom cabins are pet friendly. Advance notice required. Nightly fees apply. Individual rooms or suites within a lodge are not pet friendly. You may be asked to check out without a refund and/or $300 fee will be charged if pets or evidence of pets are found in a cabin or room that is not pet friendly.
ARE THERE ANY GRILLS?
Not at this time. If you bring one, it is of utmost importance that you do NOT use the grill on any of our decks or wood surfaces to avoid a fire. Please use them in the parking area and away from trees.
WHERE IS BREAKFAST SERVED?
Breakfast is served in our restaurant which is centrally located on the resort and within easy walking distance from most of our accommodations. Our restaurant complex has 3 dining rooms. The Rose Garden Dining Room is for events only. The Hideaway is for small groups and families while our Secret Garden Dining Room is for couples only. Breakfast is served from 8:30am to 10:30am.
IS SMOKING ALLOWED?
We do not allow smoking inside any of our buildings however, smoking is permitted outside and on porches if your accommodation has one as long as the door is closed.
HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE HOT TUBS?
Hot tubs are drained, sanitized, refilled and chemicals added as per local regulations between every guest! All hot tubs are inspected multiple times a year with a score of 100 each and every time.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
We supply all linens, towels, toiletries…and toilet paper too! We also supply coffee in all rooms that have a coffee maker which include all cabins and rooms on property.
WHEN IS THE POOL OPEN?
Depending on the weather, it opens some time in May when it gets warm and closes as cold weather sets in some time in October. When open it’s available from sunrise to sunset. Swim at your own risk. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
CAN SPECIFIC CABINS BE REQUESTED?
We will always note requests and do our best to honor them but we cannot guarantee requests. We reserve the right to move all reservations within the cabin or room type reserved. For example, this means if you reserve a Cupid’s Hideout Cabin, we cannot guarantee which Cupid you will be in, but we do guarantee you would stay in a Cupid’s Hideout cabin.
WHAT ABOUT FIREWOOD?
Firewood is available at the office for $7 per bundle for use in the fire pits or in cabins that have a wood burning fireplace. For cabins that have a wood burning fireplace the first bundle, along with a fire starter and matches is free during fall and winter!
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED ASSISTANCE WHEN THE OFFICE IS CLOSED?
For medical emergencies dial 911. For maintenance issues, if you lock yourself out, or are experiencing anything that is taking away from your stay call 706-864-4904 if the office is closed. The office opens daily at 8am if the situation can wait.
