With so many options here we recommend scheduling a tour with our event coordinator.   They’ll help you wade through all of our information so you don’t get overwhelmed.  Keep in mind that when you have your wedding here at Forrest Hills Resort we will not use the same room for your wedding reception and rehearsal dinner.  Additionally, while we know the decision is yours to make, we recommend inviting all out of town guests that are staying here to your rehearsal dinner to avoid hurt feelings and confusion.

Rehearsal Dinners With Group Lodging

Most of our options do not require overnight group lodging.  These two options do however, making your wedding weekend even more fun.

  • NEW!!  Pair our 16 room Treetopper Lodge with our Southern Ballroom for a rustic wedding retreat.
  • Rent our all-suite, 12 room hotel called the Mountain Laurel Inn.  This Inn features private outdoor hot tub, fire pit, hospitality suite and banquet venue (Blossom’s)!  We often use this building for our Destination Wedding Package.  For brides using our Rose Garden Dining Room for their reception or for those of you getting married off site this is a great option.

Formal Dinners in our Rose Garden Dining Room

Formal Dinner Venue in Dahlonega GeorgiaOur most popular venue and easily seats up to 200 guests.  This package includes:

  • Traditional Menu  Options:  Two Entrees, 1 Starch, 2 Vegetables, Garden or Caesar Salad, Chef choice dessert.
  • Site Fee

  • 2 hours for 50 guests – 3 hours with 75 or more.
  • Premium menu upgrades, beer & wine, and appetizers available.
  • No lodging required.

Lodging (Treetopper) & Banquet For Up To 50 People

So many possibilities with this one!  This all-inclusive package includes:

  • 3 Days – 2 Nights
  • 16 room Treetopper Lodge/Hotel.  Each room has a king bed, queen bed, and sleeper sofa, private bath, TV with HBO & Showtime, balcony, plus FREE WIFI.  Sleeps up to 47 guests without sharing a bed.
  • Hospitality suite (shown here) and large covered deck
  • Access to the 12-seat hot tub and fire pit outside next to lodge until 10pm each night.
  • Hot, country style breakfast buffet for up to 50 guests each morning.
  • Rehearsal dinner in YOUR CHOICE of either our Rose Garden Dining Room OR Southern Ballroom for up to 50 guests on Friday night.

The Treetopper Lodge, Rose Garden Dining Room, Hideaway Dining Room for breakfast, and The Southern Ballroom are all within easy walking distance to each other.

You have access to either banquet room by approximately 2pm (earlier if available) for decorating.

Southern Ballroom shown above – Seats up to 100.  BYOB beer and wine to this room for just a $175 set up fee for cloth & skirted bar table, ice tubs, ice, and premium plastic cups.

It is very common for guests to contribute towards their room and breakfast which reduces your cost significantly.  Room for 2 nights w/breakfast & taxes for up to 4 guests valued at $365 each.  You can have guests pay you at or below this rate.

Chuck Wagon Dinners – Private 2.5 Hour Excursion

Chuck wagon dinners are perfect for groups, families, and unique dinners in Dahlonega GeorgiaLooking for something different and unique?  Try a scenic, horse-drawn wagon ride to the Riverhouse for a cookout with live music! Enjoy steak and chicken cooked on the grill along with baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, rolls, cobbler, iced tea and water. Live music adds that final touch. This excursion departs from Gold City Corral located behind the resort office. The Riverhouse is an ol’ 1800’s style saloon-type structure complete with bonfire pit, horseshoes on horseshoe island, stream & more. BYOB Book it quick before someone else does!

This option has a set dinner time of 8pm to 10pm.

Private Dinner - Hideaway Dining Room
  • 30 Guests – 8pm to 10pm in our Hideaway Dining Room $995++
  • Add a cash bar $100
  • Add unlimited beer & wine $14pp
  • Additional guests $24.95++
  • Unlimited Beer & Wine $10++ pp

Casual Dinner – Menu of The Day

Enjoy a Southern inspired dinner buffet prepared by one of our seasoned chefs. Entrees and side dish options vary but are sure to please.  Includes salad, two entrees, at least two side dishes, dessert, iced tea, water and coffee.
Standard dinner times are 6PM, 6:30PM or 7PM

This is not a private dinner.

Casual Dinner - Menu Of The Day
  • Ages 11 & UP $19.95++ per person.

++ = 7% Tax and 17% gratuity fee will be added.
No minimum except on Sunday nights.
